==Name origin==
Kazooie, like Banjo, is named after a musical instrument, which in Kazooie's case is the [[Wikipedia:Kazoo|kazoo]]. Incidentally, Kazooie plays the kazoo in the start-up sequence of ''Banjo-Kazooie'', although it more closely resembles a [[Wikipedia:Bugle (instrument)|bugle]]. The word "bugle" is phonetically similar to "breegull," but it is unknown if this was a coincidence.
